Tough stuff

Have you ever sat on a plane enjoying the in-flight entertainment and noticed that you were speeding along at over 500kph with an outside temperature of -50°C? Just minutes before you were sitting on the ground basking in hot summer temperatures of 30°C.

The paint on an airplane must cope with extremes of temperature and wind pressure and stay firmly affixed for a minimum of eight years. With such strict performance parameters, only a few tough paints can make the grade.
