Turn a plain wooden box into a simple stylish storage solution using Resene Waterborne Colorwood woodstain.
Ways with wood with Mark Rayner - Project 36
Difficulty level: Easy
You will need: a wooden storage box (ours came from ‘Briscoes’), a clean lint-free cloth, damp cloth, latex glove, paintbrush and sandpaper. Resene Aquaclear satin, and two Resene Waterborne Colorwood testpots of Resene Hibiscus.
To get the look: Mark painted the background wall with Resene SpaceCote Flat tinted to Resene Texas Rose.
Other ideas: For a paler, limewash effect use two testpots of Resene Waterborne Colorwood in Resene Egg White.
