Resene Toys and Games with Mark Rayner - Project 15
Difficulty level: Challenging
You will need: Clean cloth, Jigsaw, Paintbrush, Piece of 6mm plywood for elephant ears, Piece of 25mm plywood for elephant body (ours measured approximately 300mm x 300mm), Pencil, Resene Aquaclear gloss, Resene Colorwood testpot of Resene Red Beech, PVA glue, Sandpaper
To get the look: Mark painted the background wall with Resene SpaceCote Flat tinted to Resene Mint Tulip.
Other ideas: Wooden toys can also be painted using a selection of Resene testpot colours, but do make sure you prime them first with Resene Quick Dry.
