The four ‘houses’ of Frankton School, Kea, Pukeko, Kereru and Weka, signifying who they are as a school, incorporating virtues and key competencies through Maori motifs and symbols.
Background to mural creation:
Senior students (year 5 and 6) are nearing the end of their time at Frankton School. The school set an inquiry task for them around ‘Making their Mark’ on Frankton School prior to leaving.
