Out of the dust
It started as a derelict old shop. Meg specialises in hand painted furniture for children so was keen to create a bright and colourful atmosphere that would attract children, their parents and all passing traffic.

Selecting a bold palette of Resene Atlantis, Pelorous, Paris M, Sorbus, Madang on the outside, Texas Rose, Sorbus and Pompadour on the door and entrance, and Governor Bay on the inside, the final colour impact is stunning.

Using her artistry, Meg added handpainted murals to the walls both inside and out. Scenes include a lighthouse, fish, birds, buzzy bees, a 'Bong tree', flowers and even a monster like rubbish bin that has now become the most popular home for the litter of all children!

The project was a massive transformation, however once Meg got started she couldn't stop working into the night for three consecutive nights to get the job done.

Meg also uses Resene products for her smellybottoms creations.
