Kirsty Britton A recent work, Transference was recognised in the Wallace Trust Art Awards. The pieces are all constructed entirely from Resene Lumbersider waterborne satin paint. Resene paint is a principal component of her art and is excessively layered to create objects. Many litres are used to build up form in those layers that enable the objects to exist beyond their support. In Transference, colours such as Resene Apple Blossom, Resene Cabaret, Resene Candy Floss and Resene Mandy have been used on top of a white base. Artist: Kirsty Britton |
