Egg wreath craft project

Instructions:

Draw an egg shape on card, cut out with scissors and use as a stencil to draw 16 more eggs. Cut out all 17 eggs and paint each egg with two coats of your favourite Resene colours. I’ve used Resene Consuela, Resene Adrenalin, Resene Guggenheim, Resene Glorious, Resene Cabaret, Resene Cupid, Resene Pale Rose, Resene Wonderland, Resene Dancing Girl, Resene Perfume, Resene Sonique, Resene Havelock Blue, Resene Sail, Resene Pattens Blue, Resene Half Moonbeam, Resene Sweet Corn and Resene Wild Thing. Cut the inside base out of a paper plate with scissors to create a ring. Cut a small slit in the top of the paper plate and thread through a long piece of ribbon. Stick double-sided tape to the back of the plate all along the inside of the centre ring. Once the eggs are dry, stick each to the ring one by one, layering as needed. Add extra double-sided tape to the back of the eggs for extra strength. Attach a bow to the top and an assortment of decorative eggs around the wreath with a glue gun.

2. Easter jars

What you'll need:

  • Resene testpots
  • Jars
  • Pencil
  • Washi masking tape
  • Craft knife
  • Paintbrush
  • Ribbon

Easter jars craft project

Instructions:

Stick some overlapping pieces of washi masking tape to a cutting board and draw a bunny shape onto the tape. Using a craft knife cut out the shape and carefully peel it away. Stick the bunny shape thoroughly to the front of each jar. Paint each jar with two coats of Resene paint. I have used Resene Cabaret and Resene Dancing Girl. Once dry, peel off the bunny shape and discard. Fill each jar with colourful Easter treats and tie a ribbon around the lid.

3. Bunny bunting

  • Resene testpots
  • Scissors
  • Paintbrush
  • Washi masking tape
  • Card
  • Pencil
  • String
  • Pom poms

  • Raffia

Bunny bunting craft project

Instructions:

Draw a bunny and carrot shape on card, cut out and use as stencils to draw and cut out 9 more. Paint each carrot with two coats of Resene Adrenalin, and each bunny in Easter colours. I’ve used Resene Sweet Corn, Resene Cabaret, Resene Havelock Blue, Resene Sail, Resene Dancing Girl and Resene Perfume. Tape four 5cm pieces of green raffia to the back of each carrot and a pom pom on each bunny. Finally, attach all shapes to a length of string with masking tape and hang.
