Paint your own mandala–dot bowls

• Wooden bowls
• Resene Waterborne Smooth Surface Sealer
• Resene testpots in your choice of colours; Nikki used Resene Pink Lace, Resene Poet and Resene Kandinsky for the bowls and Resene Alabaster for the dots
• Artist’s brush

Instructions

1. Coat the bowls in Resene Waterborne Smooth Surface Sealer.
2. Paint them in your chosen Resene testpot colours.
3. Using the artist’s brush, paint the dots in Resene Alabaster, with thicker dots in the middle and smaller dots as the pattern spreads out.
4. Once dry, use the bowls as tea light holders or for jewellery and trinkets.
