How to make your own geo wall jewellery

• Cardboard/thick paper – make sure it is thick enough so it doesn’t curl once painted
• Pencil, ruler and scissors
• Resene testpots in your choice of colours; Nikki used Resene Pioneer Red, Resene Apple Blossom, Resene Paper Doll, Resene Cod Grey and Resene Gold Dust
• Resene testpot brush
• String and short branch
• Clear tape

Instructions

1. Create geo shapes and cut them out.
2. Lay the shapes out into the order that they will display and then paint them accordingly. Leave to dry.
3. Take two pieces of string and hang from the branch. Create a handle on top as well to hang it up later.
4. Use the clear tape to fix the shapes onto the string.
5. For extra effect, dot along the edges and in the middle of some of the shapes.
6. Hang up your handmade wall jewellery.

Top tip: Try using other shapes for a softer look – circles, clouds and other organic shapes all work well.
