Get the fish scale look.

Fresh from the beach, what better way to wash off the salt and sand than in this fish-scale outdoor shower? Set into a private courtyard painted in Resene Delta, the shower wall is painted in hard-wearing Resene Lumbersider low-sheen paint, tinted to various colours: Resene All Black, Resene Quarter Delta, Resene Quarter Truffle and Resene Double Alabaster. Softened with potted palms, and with shells underfoot, it's both a practical and beautiful space. The pots are painted in Resene Passport, Resene Hideaway and Resene Karaka. The duckboard is stained in Resene Woodsman Iroko.

It takes just one Resene testpot to upcycle an old cane bedside table, give a distinctive look to a set of stools, or paint a plant pot or two. The paint used for most Resene testpots is Resene Lumbersider – it's a tough paint formulated for outdoor or indoor use so is perfect for all of these projects, and its low-sheen finish gives a wonderful on-trend chalky look. If your plant pots are made of porous material like terracotta or concrete, seal them inside and out with Resene Terracotta Sealer to make them more water-tight and your plants happier.
