How to find art in nature

Create with paint! Projects from habitat by Resene

DIY nature art print

Painted art works

Leaves are big in art prints right now and are simple enough to create yourself. Here we’ve created an oversized leaf print, inspired by the Monstera leaf.

You will need: Canvases, oversized leaves collected from the garden, roller/sponge and tray, blu tac, Resene testpots in your choice of colours: we used Resene Half Tea, Resene Madam M, Resene Red Hot and Resene Red Letter.

Top tip: Layer up the leaf images and Resene colours to add more colour and detail to your finished artwork.
