Transform a plain ceramic vase into a fabulous copper masterpiece with a little bit of help from Resene.
Resene art with Mark Rayner - Project 90
Difficulty level: Moderate
You will need: Clean cloth, old vase - ours was ceramic, glazed on the inside and unglazed (but nonporous) on the outside, paintbrush, Resene Acrylic Undercoat, Resene Aquaclear gloss, Resene testpots of Resene Copper Fire and Resene Wild West, Sandpaper.
To get the look: Mark painted the background wall with Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen tinted to Resene Half Dutch White.
Other ideas: For a dazzling purple metallic effect apply two coats of Resene Funtasia over a basecoat of Resene Daisy Bush.
