It’s easy to turn a plain wooden souvenir head into a funky retro piece using a few Resene testpots.
Resene art with Mark Rayner - Project 84
Difficulty level: Moderate
You will need: Clean cloth, Paintbrushes, Resene Aquaclear gloss, Resene Quick Dry, Resene testpots of Resene Black, Resene Chalk Dust, Resene Jambalaya and Resene Toorak, Sandpaper, Wooden souvenir head
To get the look: Mark painted the background wall with Resene SpaceCote Flat tinted to Resene Del Toro.
Other ideas: To retain the wood grain, stain the head with a colour from the Resene Colorwood range and finish off with three coats of Resene Aquaclear.
