It’s easy to create this subtle contemporary artwork from an old wooden picture frame and a piece of marine plywood.
Resene art with Mark Rayner - Project 65
Difficulty level: Moderate
You will need: Clean cloth, old wooden picture frame, paintbrush, piece of marine plywood, PVA glue, Resene Aquaclear gloss, Resene Colorwood testpot of Resene Rock Salt, ruler, sandpaper, saw.
To get the look: Mark painted the background wall with Resene SpaceCote Flat tinted to Resene Submerge.
Other ideas: Create a darker, flatter effect by using a combination of Resene Aquaclear satin and a Resene Colorwood testpot of Resene Pitch Black.
