Transform a humble terracotta pot into a fun kiwi planter with a few Resene testpots.
Resene art with Mark Rayner - Project 29
Difficulty level: Moderate
You will need: Latex gloves, paintbrushes (including artists’ brushes), Resene Multishield+ (now Resene Concrete Clear) gloss, Resene Terracotta Sealer, Resene testpots in the following colours: Resene Keppel, Resene Nero, Resene Sambuca and Resene Turbo, Resene Waterborne Smooth Surface Sealer, Selleys ‘Knead it’ epoxy putty, square terracotta pot.
To get the look: Mark painted the background wall with Resene SpaceCote Flat tinted to Resene Tacao and applied Resene Aquaclear gloss to the wooden shelf.
Other ideas: To create a metallic effect, paint the planter with two coats of Resene Chicago followed by two coats of Resene Pure Pewter followed by Resene Multishield+ (now Resene Concrete Clear).
