Another art idea - dribble pot
Another idea: vary colours

Top tip: You can also use a paintbrush to dribble smaller amounts to create a cool drippy striped effect.

Here's another idea: This pot was painted with a basecoat of Resene Kermit and then dribbled with Resene Fizz, Resene Get Reddy, Resene Malibu, Resene Teal Blue and Resene Studio.

How to make a dribble plant pot

Step 1 Step one
Apply one coat of Resene Terracotta Sealer to the inside and outside of the pot and allow it to dry.

Step 2 Step two
Paint the outside and inner top rim of the pot with two coats of Resene Tango. Allow at least two hours for each coat to dry.

Step 3 Step three
Place the old 1 litre paint tin on the piece of cardboard and then place the pot upside down on the paint tin, as shown.

Step 4 Step four
Carefully dribble Resene Rocket onto the side of the pot and allow it to run down.

Step 5 Step five
Carefully dribble Resene Kermit onto the wet red paint and allow it to run down.

Step 6 Step six
Carefully dribble Resene Space Cadet onto the previous layers of wet paint and allow it to run down.

Step 7 Step seven
Carefully dribble Resene Fizz onto the previous layers of wet paint and allow it to run down.

Step 8 Step eight
Carefully dribble a few smaller amounts of Resene Rocket and Resene Guru. Leave the pot turned upside down overnight to dry before turning the right way up. How neat is that?
