It’s easy to create this cool name tag with a little bit of help from Resene.

You will need: Paintbrushes (including small artists’ brush), Resene paint stirrer, Resene Art Action Quick Dry, Resene testpots of Resene Kermit, Resene Rocket and Resene Surfs Up, Sandpaper, Saw, Wool

Top tip: You could also make a name tag from thick cardboard.

Here's another idea: This cool name tag was made from the end of an old wooden paintbrush and painted with Resene Fizz and Resene Gobstopper.

Step 1

Step one
Create a name tag shape by cutting a piece from the end of a Resene paint stirrer and smooth with sandpaper – you may need a grown up to help with this bit.

Step 2

Step two
Apply one coat of Resene Art Action Quick Dry to the name tag and allow two hours to dry.

Step 3

Step three
Apply two coats of Resene Kermit to the name tag and allow two hours for each coat to dry.

Step 4

Step four
Paint the edge and around the hole on the name tag with Resene Surfs Up. Allow two hours to dry.

Step 5

Step five
Paint your name onto the name tag using Resene Rocket and allow two hours to dry.

Step 6

Step six
Thread the name tag onto a piece of wool, as shown, and tie the ends. How neat is that?
