Leonie Mulqueeney of Loniart

Leonie Mulqueeney of Loniart has been sketching and drawing all her life. Previously, she has been a Building Designer, manually drawing plans and presentations, a Graphic Designer designing office stationery/branding, an Interior Design Teacher at TAFE and a complusive doodler!

Her work is original contemporary abstract, suitable for interiors, of late mainly for apartments in her local area (Gold Coast). Works vary in size with both large and small works on canvas, mainly acrylic or mixed media. Leonie has previously had a Gallery in Parramatta 'Moth Gallery', amidst the Artist Hub and plans to do the same now back at home on the Gold Coast.

Leonie draws inspiration from her imagination, nature and many bottles of red!

Her favourite Resene products are mainly the Resene acrylics, which she loves to mix herself.

Leonie loves Resene testpots, and finds they always challenge her, and alter her paintings completely, from her original vision.
