The clocktower at the Cardrona Alpine Resort
Resene Wintergrade Lumbersider enabled this high altitude clocktower to be painted without jeopardising the full cure of the paint system.
The Clocktower at the Cardrona Alpine Resort acts as a landmark to all those that visit. To return it to its previous glory, the severely chalked original cement based paint was waterblasted then sealed with Resene Sureseal to bind up the porous substrate. The topcoat system consisted of two coats of Resene Wintergrade Lumbersider tinted to Resene Waikawa Grey.
With the ability to cure at temperatures as low as 2°C, Resene Wintergrade Lumbersider enabled this high altitude clocktower to be painted without jeopardising the full cure of the paint system.
