Reclaimed storage rack

Upcycle a pallet and old kitchen forks to help keep garden tools organised.

You will need: Old wooden pallet (ours measured approx. 114cm x 114cm), Fence paling (ours was 1.2m long), Old kitchen forks, Hammer, Screwdriver, Sandpaper (coarse), Stiff-bristled brush, 50mm galvanised nails, 25mm exterior timber screws, 75mm exterior timber screws, Paintbrush, Heavy pliers or bench vice for bending forks, Resene Lumbersider tinted to Resene Half Duck Egg Blue, Resene Quick Dry

Top tip: If the reclaimed pallet has previously been outside for any length of time it may be necessary to first treat it with Resene Moss & Mould Killer and then wash it with Resene Timber and Deck Wash prior to painting.

To get the look: Mark painted the shed walls with Resene lumbersider tinted to Resene Unwind.
