It’s easy to build this simple garden seat from timber and finish it off with a rich red colour from the Resene Woodsman range.
Ways with wood with Mark Rayner - Project 82
Difficulty level: Moderate
You will need: 50mm x 50mm treated timber (approx 300mm), 75mm exterior wood screws, brush , drill with 3mm drill bit, exterior PVA glue, large clamps (x2), paintbrush, pencil Resene Woodsman tinted to Resene Japanese Maple, ruler, sandpaper, saw, screwdriver, tape measure, tongue and groove landscaping timber (approx 3.5m).
To get the look: Mark painted the background stucco wall with Resene AquaShield tinted to Resene Quarter Solitaire.
Other ideas: For a darker green effect use Resene Woodsman tinted to Resene Rangitoto.
