Double son space
Redecorating a bedroom for 7 and 8 year old sons started with the purchase of duvet covers from Pumpkin Patch. Duvets in place, the paint scheme was developed to match using hues of Resene Caper on the walls, Resene Astronaut on the wardrobe and clean white on trims, joinery and the ceiling.

The carpet was removed to reveal the floorboards, which were subsequently polished.

The beds and dresser were made by Helen at local Polytech night classes, as were the curtains. An old desk purchased from a newspaper advertisement and a bookcase were both rejuvenated with Resene Astronaut.

The project was greatly enjoyed - so much so that the Resene The Range has been taken back out again so they can start on the next room!
