Gorgeously girly

Moving into their new house, the Rarere family's first priority was redecorating their young daughter's blue bedroom to make their extremely 'girly girl' feel at home.

They found her wallpaper at Resene - a vivid pink which they chose because they felt she would outgrow a paler pink too quickly. They used it on two walls to create a backdrop to her four poster bed which, like the rest of her furniture, they painted with Resene Enamacryl gloss in white. The wallpaper was also used to frame the dressing table on the opposite wall. The walls and ceilings were also painted white to allow the wallpaper and light fixture to enjoy centre stage.

When it came time to find pink paint to match the wallpaper they had absolutely no luck until Resene staff created a custom colour and colour matched a sample of the wallpaper to create exactly the right shade and was just what was needed to put the finishing touches on the furniture and make this dream 'girly' room complete!
